Promasidor Ghana (PGH) has provided GH¢489,900 to the National Cardiothoracic Centre (NCTC) to support ten patients in need of life-saving surgery. Additionally, Promasidor Ghana contributed vital medical supplies to the Kaneshie Polyclinic in Accra.
In accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 3, which aims for Good Health and Well-Being, the medical equipment donated to Kaneshie Polyclinic includes 50 oxygen masks, two patient trolleys, two myomectomy instruments, two caesarean section instruments, a patient monitor, suction machine and tube, bulb syringe, and diathermy pencils.
Promasidor has donated equipment to the National Cardiothoracic Centre, as part of its 25th anniversary commitment to assist Ghanaians. The donation aims to drive social change, improve quality of life, and address societal needs.
As the saying goes, “Charity begins at home, so we decided to mark our 25th anniversary by first equipping the health center in our immediate surrounding with the necessary medical supplies to make life and health care delivery more comfortable for everyone.” Since our modest beginnings in 1999 in this same community, we have grown exponentially in terms of our product line and extensions.
The PGH MD announced a community support drive, donating GH¢335,700 for life-saving heart surgery last year. This year, they will support 10 patients, expressing gratitude to Promasidor Ghana for their generous gesture.
“We at Cardio are highly appreciative of the support and partnership from Promasidor,” stated Dr. Kow Entsua-Mensah, the Director of NCTC. Many patients and their families have experienced joy, hope, and life-restoring experiences thanks to your sponsorship.
“We called PGH in trouble, and we are grateful for your prompt reaction and kind donation. Dr. Jacob Agyei-Larbi, the medical director of Kaneshie Polyclinic, expressed gratitude to Promasidor’s leadership.
